About Musical Stories
Musical Stories is an explorative musical story-time session that promotes a love for reading, music, and creativity for children in their early years. Each session lasts between 35-45 minutes and combines familiar vocal songs/nursery rhymes, instrumental accompaniment, and instrumental exploration whilst telling an exciting selection of stories. At the end of each session, children and parents can take home a themed simple activity to encourage further creativity at home!
During our first visit at Crockenhill Village Hall, the Musical Stories session will be themed around Julia Donaldson’s beloved rhyming story book 'Night Monkey, Day Monkey'.
With this in mind, parents and children will be taken on a journey through the jungle and can all expect to engage with singalong, clapping, and using percussion instruments too!
